Two By Vonia Martin copyright 2023  When I searched for successful people that were adopted I got a whole two people, Marilyn Monroe and Dave Thomas. Granted, the first is a legend but in my opinion dead is not being successful and both are exactly that. I realize we are all going to die but to be successful, in my opinion, one should not die way before your time and both did exactly that. That doesn’t leave anyone but the message is clear, die young and you might have a chance at being successful.  When I searched for successful people that aged out of the foster care system all I got was Marilyn Monroe or Norma Jean. She should stand alone but for so many other things plus I wonder if the studios didn’t make the story up for publicity, they did that a lot back in those days. Beware By V. Martin Not too long ago, I claimed, that today you would be hard pressed to find a child who has not been violated, sexually. Adults need to keep their hands to themselves. It is not their job or calling to teach children about their sexuality. That is something for them to discover on their own, with other people their age. No parent, uncle, brother, mother, sister, cousin, or anyone age inappropriate should be laying their hands on a child, innocent or not.  Every child, from money or not, need only worry about being the best person they can be given the examples we have provided for them. In other words they can only be as good as we are and we are not very good. We want more for our children but what about those that have no one? Do we doom them to hell? You bet we do. We use them in any way possible. We take everything from them because we can. Why not?

OrWiggingIn By V. Martin Or just wigging, I have the wig for you. My idea was to make a more comfortable and realistic wig. Heat. Wigs can be really hot especially for their target audience, old ladies. Don’t get offended, I’m one myself, at fifty four young it is a challenge to look good and still be comfortable. Since menopause my hair has been falling out at an alarming rate with no signs of slowing down. I am poor but vane so I needed a cheap way to get a full head of hair without it looking totally fake. Not only that I needed to stay cool or it wouldn’t work for me because comfort comes before all else. Then I remembered the old hair frosting kits and the plastic cap with the holes in it. It occurred to me that if I didn’t have to coil my hair up and pile it on top of my head then put a nylon cap over that to keep my hair under the wig, I could use the same idea of the frosting cap. AndNeverSwallows (Lol) By V. Martin At least now I get space where I need it. And its not the space between my ears. My boss gave birth to a baby girl today. I’m very happy for them but cannot help but think of the kids I would of had if I had had a family. Maybe too many hads in that sentence. There are so many things I wanted to be and do in my life and most I have failed to do or be. My first impulse is to blame my past and my lack of family because it is everything so I have nothing. They are not kidding when they say family is everything except when you don’t have one then it is more then everything, if that is possible. Nothing is something I know a lot about. So much so, I believe it is all I am worthy of having. When everything you have has been given to you by a few generous people only to be taken by a few greedy people that think I deserve nothing.
